FIELD: printing industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of printing products production and can be used for their decoration and/or counterfeit protection purposes. First, a printed part of the formed volumetric image is produced on the workpiece to be processed. After that, the printed part is covered with a transparent polymeric layer, which can be formed by lamination in the form of a film or varnishing in the form of a varnish layer. Then, in the film thus obtained, or in the varnish, a microlens part of the volumetric image is formed by mechanical or thermomechanical action with a cliche of the necessary configuration.
EFFECT: provides the possibility to decorate and/or protect various printing products by obtaining a volume effect on any part of the surface of the workpiece.
