FIELD: information storage means intended for protection of securities and other mass production items from forgeries.
SUBSTANCE: method for creating a carrier of protective information is disclosed, which represents a structure of polymeric material having relief surface in form of etched channels in track membrane, which channels are filled with a substance. Etched channels are filled with metal, by means of its galvanic precipitation, to create hemispheric metallic mirror micro-formations on the surface of polymeric material hemispheric shape of aforementioned micro-formations is defined in reflecting optical microscope using either moveable point source of light, or circular lighting of information carrier with a given number of point sources of light.
EFFECT: increased degree of protection of carrier from forgeries, simple and readily understandable identification of concealed information carrier.
