SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar location and can be used in pulse tracking radar stations (RS), working on target designation. Claimed technical result is achieved due to the fact that during initial processing, after exceeding a detection threshold with an accumulated signal, the time required to exceed the measurement threshold, required for measuring target coordinates with a specified accuracy is estimated, in addition, during this time a signal is emitted, after which the irradiation of a specified goal is forcibly stopped and proceed with the irradiation of the next target, without waiting for the result at the output of the primary information processing subsystem. Method is implemented by a device consisting of an antenna device, a transmitter-receiver, a control circuit, a primary processing device, as well as secondary processing devices, where a calculator of the signal accumulation time and an output key are additionally inputted to the primary processing device. Listed components are connected to each other in a certain manner.

EFFECT: increase in the productivity of the tracking radar stations by reducing the time losses caused by the delay in the processing of information.
