FIELD: analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of analytical chemistry and can be used to detect the leakage of hydrazine and asymmetric dimethylhydrazine from storage and transport containers. Essence: prepare an indicator reagent consisting of copper chloride of bivalent, bromophenol blue and isopropyl alcohol. Indicator reagent is applied to the surface with a spray device or in a paint composition. Appearance of a blue stain on the background of the paint indicates the leakage of hydrazine and asymmetric dimethylhydrazine in places where the integrity of the tank is violated.
EFFECT: technical result: increasing the accuracy of leakage detection.
