FIELD: monitoring and measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling vapors of liquid-propellant components in air based on semiconductor gas-sensitive sensors, consisting in the fact that for each admixture of asymmetric dimethylhydrazine and nitrogen tetroxide appropriate heating power of gas-sensitive sensors is installed, a certain amount of air is passed through the chamber with installed analytical channels with the specified heating capacities, voltage is measured on each sensor, results of the measured voltages are processed, content of vapors of liquid rocket fuel components in air is determined, characterized by the fact that components of liquid rocket propellants are identified using a set of sensors in composition SnO2:Sb2O3:Ag, SnO2:Sb2O3:Ni, SnO2:Sb2O3:Fe and SnO2:Sb2O3:Zn, assembled in a multi-sensor system, which is controlled by a microprocessor, heating sensors SnO2:Sb2O3:Ag, SnO2:Sb2O3:Zn, which react to presence of nitrogen tetraoxide impurities in air flow, with supply of current with power of 150 mW, and sensors SnO2:Sb2O3:Ni, SnO2:Sb2O3:Fe, which detect impurities of asymmetric dimethylhydrazine with supply of current with power of 350 mW.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of control, sensitivity, selectivity, stability due to application of gas-sensitive sensors system (SnO2:Sb2O3:Ag, SnO2:Sb2O3:Ni, SnO2:Sb2O3:Fe and SnO2:Sb2O3:Zn), absence of additional measures, absence of consumables usage during control.
