FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rapid determination of hydrazine and amine fuels presence by indication on surfaces, in particular, to control of rocket fuels components storage and transportation equipment integrity. Method of hydrazine and amine fuels detecting by indication comprises their contacting with reagent with transition of coloring, contacting is performed on surface by reagent spraying using of any spraying device, and used reagent is solution with following ratio of components, wt%: isopropyl alcohol 40–45, nickel chloride 9–10, bromophenol blue 0.03–0.04, water is rest.

EFFECT: enabling higher accuracy and reliability of fuels leaks detecting on metal surface.
