SUBSTANCE: described is a pharmaceutical microemulsion composition for the treatment of diarrhea, comprising racecadotril, polyoxyl 35 castor oil in combination with glyceryl mono-/dicaprylate as a surfactant, caprylic/capric acid triglycerides 70:30 as a lipid and water.
EFFECT: microemulsion composition for the treatment of diarrhea is characterised by a transparent, thermodynamically stable and isotropic appearance.
