METHOD OF THE ROAD DRONES GROUP DRIVING AND SYSTEM FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G05D1/02 

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: method of the road drones group driving provides for the group of unmanned street cleaners (drones) cavalcade driving by the leading manned street cleaner. Master machine operator instructions for formation of the convoy, cavalcade to the right, cavalcade to the left and the group braking are converted into the cyclic command synchronization sequence, which is modulated by electromagnetic radiation from the leading machine side. Each drone of the group receives electromagnetic radiation, reproduces the command synchronization sequence by means of demodulation, identifies the relevant command signals and time slots for the acoustic signal reception from the nearest front drone or the leading machine and for the acoustic signal emission from its side to the nearest rear drone. Current longitudinal and transverse machine-to-machine distances are determined on the basis of the difference in the electromagnetic and acoustic pulses propagation velocities. Synchronization of machines by speed is provided on the basis of the safe longitudinal distance for the leading machine current speed tracing by the drones. Driven machines parallel movement is provided on the basis of tracing the set transverse machine-to-machine distances. Also disclosed is implementing the said method system.
