FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave antenna technology, mainly to the design of monopulse "antenna-fairing" systems with total-difference angular discriminators for surface-to-air missiles. "Antenna-fairing" system comprises an antenna device for directing in two planes, with the sum-difference angular discriminators with the scheme of formation of the total and difference signals in rectangular or oblique planes, the radio-transparent aerial fairing in the form of a cap equipped with an attachment to the aircraft. In this case, the antenna device consists of eight antennas (eight circular sectors), signals in turn with high speed are removed from each of the eight circular sectors, in turn forming a processing scheme from four circular sectors in rectangular planes and from four circular sectors in oblique planes, the control signals being generated as complex sums of two signals in each of the difference channels and in the total channel.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reducing the amount of direction-finding (angular) error of the "antenna-fairing" system.
