FIELD: plastic processing.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a sonotrode and to a packaging machine for manufacturing sealed packages with a sonotrode according to the invention. Disclosed is sonotrode (1), comprising: head (15) which defines sealing surface (14) elongated along first direction (A) orthogonal to second direction (B), and at least one first slot (23, 27) which extends through head (15) transversally to said first direction (A). First slot (23) extends parallel to third direction (C; D) inclined to both first direction and second direction (A, B). Third direction (C; D) defines acute angle (α, β) with second direction (B). Packaging machine for manufacturing sealed packages uses a sonotrode according to the invention.
EFFECT: technical result achieved with the use of the group of inventions is improvement in the sealing quality of packages due to a more even distribution of vibration when manufacturing packages.
