SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water-dispersion paint and varnish materials for the protection of concrete and metal surfaces against corrosion, intended for use in the construction industry. Water-dispersion protective paint composition comprises a styrene-acrylic dispersion of copolymers, fillers, kaolin, non-activated, kaolin, ultrasonically activated 20 kHz, 1,000 W, amplitude of 100 mcm for 10 minutes, kaolin, activated with 3 % acetic acid solution for 12 hours, kaolin activated at 600–700 °C for 2 hours, pigment – titanium rutile form dioxide, functional additives in the following proportions, wt.%: styrene-acrylic dispersion of copolymers 32–34, titanium dioxide 6–8, chalk 3–5, microtalc 2–4, microcalcite 2–4, unactivated kaolin 7.1–7.2, kaolin activated by ultrasonic vibrations 1.95–2.6, kaolin activated with 3 % acetic acid solution 1.3–1.95, kaolin activated at 600–700 °C 1.95–2.6, polyvinyl alcohol (10 % solution) 0.9–1.1, isopropyl alcohol 0.25–0.35, thickener – highly pseudo-plastic acrylic thickener 0.5–0.7, dispersant – aqueous solution of sodium polyacrylate 0.4–0.6, defoamer is an emulsion based on aliphatic hydrocarbons and nonionic surfactants 0.5–0.7, desalted water – the rest to 100.

EFFECT: increase in the level of hiding power, cohesive and adhesive strength, water absorption and washability, and also increases resistance to aggressive media.
