FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pneumatic device for supporting an engagement force for a mechanical transmission. Pneumatic device comprises a housing structure having an inlet for compressed air and an outlet for air, control rod (2) and output block (A) which contains working piston (K) defining two air working spaces (9, 10). Valve assembly (11) is operatively disposed between the control rod and the output unit, which provides pneumatic sequential control from the output unit to the control rod and comprises two piston structures (3, 4), two annular sealing lips (34), two interacting slider valves (17, 18) and two valve seats (25, 26). At least one pair comprising a piston structure and a spool comprises a throttling device, so that throttle gasket (41) fixedly fixed to the output unit interacts with at least one throttling channel (39) located in a corresponding slider valve (17, 18) or corresponding piston structure (3, 4), at that, the working cross-sectional area of the throttling channel depends on the position of the structural member having this throttle channel (39) relative to corresponding throttle gasket (41).
EFFECT: simplified design is achieved.
