SUBSTANCE: urine odor control system for personal care products includes a substrate containing an activated charcoal formulation and an absorbent core containing a silver-based formulation. Personal care product includes diapers, panties for potty training, absorbing panties, products for incontinent adults, or hygienic products for women. Personal care product may comprise a liquid-permeable body-facing lining, a liquid impermeable outer cover attached to a body-facing liner, where the absorbent core and the substrate are located between the body-facing liner and the outer cover.
EFFECT: control of odor in products for personal hygiene is offered.
