METHOD OF THE ELECTRICAL INSULATING POLYMER COATING APPLICATION ONTO THE SECOND GENERATION SUPERCONDUCTORS AND DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC H01B12/14

Abstract RU 2662801 C1

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the polyimides based polymer coating application technology, used as the second generation electrical superconducting wires electrical insulation coating. Method of the electrical insulating coating application onto the second generation high-temperature superconductor tape includes the following stages: superconducting tape movement through the working cell with the coating application solution with viscosity of 10 to 40 Pa⋅s at ambient temperature, selected from the group consisting of the polyimide resin precursor or polyimide resin; solution uniform distribution on the superconducting tape both sides by this applied solution interaction with two cylindrical bodies, on which surface alternating protrusions and hollows are made, arranged along the helical line with production of the applied solution film with predetermined thickness; the superconducting tape with solution film thermal treatment.

EFFECT: invention allows to produce the uniform coating without the insular and undulating surface.
