SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an internal combustion engine with a multi-link piston crank mechanism. Oil nozzle (45) is provided for each cylinder in the lower part of cylinder block (5). Oil nozzle (45) has first injection nozzle (46) that injects the lubricating oil towards the rear side of piston (2) during the opening of pressure control valve (51A), and second injection nozzle (47) which injects the lubricating oil towards the connecting portion between lower connecting rod (7) and the control connecting rod (9) during the opening of pressure control valve (51B). By this configuration, a lubricating oil can be continuously supplied to the connecting portion between lower connecting rod (7) and control connecting rod (9).
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the volume of lubricating oil supplied to the sliding piece between the second connecting pin and the control connecting rod.
