FIELD: vehicles equipment and accessories.
SUBSTANCE: heavy-duty vehicles wheels tire (100) comprises breaker structural member (105), which comprises plurality of reinforcing cords (11). Each cord (11) comprises made of the non-metallic material core (12) and plurality of metal wires (13), parallel to each other and wound spirally around the said core (12) with the predetermined winding pitch. Metal wires (13) are located around the said core (12) so, that in the any cord (11) cross-section, they are located only in some angular part of the ideal circumference, which describes the core (12). Being subjected to the varying loads, lying in the of 10 to 40 % of its tensile strength, the cord (11) undergoes elongation, which varies according to the curve, in the “load – relative elongation in percentage terms” graph having the linear correlation factor of less than about 0.990, at that, the said curve points are interpolated by means of the straight line having angular coefficient of less than about 30.
EFFECT: increase in the tire strength while improving comfort.
