FIELD: manufacturing technology; transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and plant for production of tires. Frame structural element is assembled according to the method. Structural element is assembled forming a crown zone. Structural element forming a crown zone is connected with the frame structural element. Assembly of structural element forming the crown zone includes formation of at least one breaker layer on auxiliary drum for at least partial production of breaker structural element. Axially opposite lateral bent off parts of said at least one layer (8a, 8b) of breaker on auxiliary drum are bent upward. Breaker structural element is replaced from auxiliary drum to at least one service drum. Tread band is made by winding at least one continuous long element from elastomer material by forming coils located next to each other around breaker structural element supported by the service drum.
EFFECT: higher quality of finished articles.
