SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used for treating patients suffering from 1^st carpometacarpal joint arthrosis. For this purpose, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in combination with subchondral osteoperforation of 1 metacarpal bone is para-articularlly and intra-articularlly administrated in the 1^st carpometacarpal joint. First injection of PRP is performed on the first day of intra- and para-articular treatment in a volume of 1.5–2 ml in amount of 1,500,000–2,700,000 cells. On the 3^rd day, subchondral osteoperforation of the 1^st metacarpal bone is performed under the control of an electronic optical transducer (EOT). Next day and on the 7^th day of treatment, the second and third injections of PRP are performed in the same amount. For the entire period of treatment, the 1^st finger is immobilized with a gypsum longus in the physiological position.

EFFECT: method provides an effective treatment of this pathology with the possibility of an early active rehabilitation with the absence of strict limitations of physical activity due to a certain treatment mode, simultaneously affecting various pathogenetic links.
