FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric power industry, in particular to the high voltage electrical equipment insulation testing with increased voltage devices. Testing device consists of generator unit, resonant circuit, step-up transformer and equipped with switches demodulator connected thereto. In parallel to the demodulator discharge resistor is connected. Generator unit contains generator with the PWM inverter and control system. Resonant circuit and step-up transformer are made in form of the single design and technological component, consisting of the coiled and separated by the dielectric first and second conductive plates, and wire winding. Plates serve as the transformer primary winding, the first plate has a terminal at the plate beginning, the second plate has a terminal at the plate end. First plate output and the second electrode plate are connected into the inverter diagonal. Wire winding has magnetic connection with the plates, acts as the transformer secondary winding and is connected to the load via the demodulator. Demodulator switches operation is consistent with the PWM inverter operation and is determined by the control system. In the demodulator, the discharge resistor circuit is commutated by the switch, which operation is consistent with the demodulator and the PWM inverter switches operation.
EFFECT: possibility of testing the electrical equipment, which insulation has both large and small capacity, provision of testing by the voltage of any given frequency (high, ultralow) and shape (sinusoidal, sawtooth, rectified), reducing the device weight and dimensions.
