FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method incorporates regulation function and enables building up output voltage according to programmable output-voltage conversion function. To this end input voltage of ϕ(x) kind is rectified, converted into high-frequency amplitude double-modulated ac voltage with respect to ϕ(x) function and pulse-width modulated voltage with respect to f{x) function for conversion into voltage of Y1 = ϕ(x)* (f(x), rectified, filtered off, and converted with respect to γ(x) function into voltage of desired Y = |ϕ(x)* f(x)|*γ(x) kind at output. This method and device can be used in secondary power supply systems, power modulators of automatic-control systems, radio equipment, low- and high-voltage electric drives.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of output voltage.
