FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: vacuum induction melting and casting unit for production of castings with a directional and single-crystal structure contains a melting chamber with a spherical cover, gateway chamber, block recoiling and cooled copper lifting table. Melting chamber contains a melting crucible, a crystallizer, a vacuum system, a mold heating furnace, a vertical movement mechanism for the molds, a vacuum shutter and a mechanism for opening and closing the PPF door. Sluice chamber is placed on a trolley and has a transition pipe installed on the side of the melting chamber, and the lid on the other side, a mechanism for moving the molds, a slide vacuum shutter. Recoil unit is mounted on a trolley and consists of a capacitor bank, a thyristor current purity converter, a measuring console, current leads with three transformers. Cooled copper lifting table is a structure in the form of a copper screen with hermetic cavities for the flow of the coolant, fixed through a seal on the cooled rod of the table moving mechanism with a controlled drive.

EFFECT: temperature gradient is established over the melt crystal of the crystallizer and an increase in the productivity of the installation along with a reduction in the cost of production.
