FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method relates to radio engineering, namely, to methods for determining location (DL) of radio emission sources, and can be used to determine the location of satellite earth stations (ES). For this purpose, the signal of the ES repeated from at least three AC is received by the 3COM, time delays of the signal are measured, stored, and then the stored values are used to determine by the RS the ES location. Frequency instabilities of each of the coherent channels of the multichannel radio receiver are pre-compensated and the coordinates of the AC are corrected according to the results of measuring the inclined distances.
EFFECT: technical result is reduced error in measuring the coordinates of the satellite ES according to a repeated signal by means of a difference-ranging method.
