SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, in particular to methods for determining the location of radio emission sources and can be used to determine the location of earth stations (ES) of satellite communications. To do this, at the preparatory stage, the frequency instabilities of each of the coherent channels of the multichannel radio receiving device are compensated, according to the results of measurements of the slant ranges, the location of the spacecraft (SC) is specified. In the process of measurement at the earth station of position determination, the signal of the ES relayed from at least three spacecraft is received, the signal-interference situation is estimated in a given frequency band in each spacecraft, in the presence of signals of the j-th ES in the band of the j-th spacecraft, which are interfering when performing measurements, they are isolated, and in the process of further processing the signals of the j-th ES are subtracted from the group spectrum of the j-th spacecraft, the delays in receiving signals under the conditions of compensation of interference signals are calculated, the coordinates of the given ES are determined by the differential-ranging method.

EFFECT: increasing the noise immunity of measuring the coordinates of the ES of satellite communications by using the extraction of the interference signal and its subtraction from the group spectrum.
