FIELD: veterinary.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine and represents a method for pharmacocorrection of Zn-, Cu- and I-hypomicroelementoses in cows. According to the invention, animals with a therapeutic purpose are given a mineral supplement consisting of zinc sulfate 2,000 mg, copper sulfate 150 mg, iodine stabilized STACOD – 50 mg, sulfur purified – 5,000 mg, excipient – 15,000 mg mixed with monocar or molasses once a day at the rate of 1 dose per animal daily for 10 days, then a 10-day break, a repeated 10-day course of mineral supplementation, then a second 10-day break and the third 10-day course of giving a mineral supplement to the disappearance of signs of microelementosis or laboratory confirmation of the normalization of the trace element composition of blood serum, corresponding to the ongoing correction for iodine, copper, zinc and sulfur.

EFFECT: invention provides opportunity to increase the efficiency of the method of pharmacocorrection of mineral metabolism disorders in cows by optimizing the feeding periods to compensate for the scarce state of the mineral supplement by the example of the Kayomecin-S preparation.
