FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used, for example, as an electromagnetic device in magnetically controlled shunt reactors, used in high-voltage electrical networks for smooth control of reactive power. Three-phase electromagnetic device contains windings, a magnetic system, consisting of a magnetic core with rods, yokes, and two shunt attachments located on both sides of the magnetic circuit. Two vertical yokes are introduced into the magnetic core, and in each of the attached shunts there are two vertical sections, so that the magnetic circuit contains two horizontal and four vertical yokes, and each of the two add-on shunts contains, respectively, two horizontal and four vertical sections. Yokes with attachable shunts form three rectangular frames with three sections. Rods with windings are placed inside the sections. Four vertical yokes create additional support points for two horizontal yards, which increases the mechanical strength and also helps reduce noise and vibration.
EFFECT: due to the introduction of two vertical yarns into the magnetic circuit, and the appearance of local heating and losses is excluded in the shunts of the two vertical sections - this is the technical result.
