FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry, in particular to the chemical analysis of a liquid sample of an aqueous extract of a polymethylmethacrylic product for denture treatment. Method of conductometric determination of the content of methyl methacrylate in aqueous extracts of dental products consists in carrying out measurements of the electrical conductivity of an aqueous extract and determining the concentration of methyl methacrylate eluted from the polymer composition according to the calibration graph of the conductivity of the aqueous solution versus the concentration of methyl methacrylate, at that the preparing a sample of the water extracting basis of the denture, measuring the electrical conductivity of this solution using a conductometric cell with graphite electrodes, and the concentration of the methyl methacrylate in the test sample is determined from the previously constructed calibration curve of the conductivity of the aqueous solution versus the concentration of the methyl methacrylate.
EFFECT: invention can be used in conducting rapid tests in the practice of dental clinics and offices.
