SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of sewage devices. Device (1) comprises a grating (2) and the grating into the device seat installation device comprising the walls forming the seat sides and element providing abutment for prevention of the grating slipping further down the seat. Grating in the seat retention is provided by at least partially directing the walls inwards the seat so, that the mounted grate free exit from the seat obstacle is created. Seat walls are made with possibility of elastic deformation, and the grating is made of such size and shape that when mounted on the seat, at least one wall inclined portion at least partial renewable deformation occurs, thereby allowing the grating mounting on the seat. After the installation and the walls returning to the non-deformed position, the walls inclined portions hang over at least the grating input part, thereby ensuring the grating retention in the seat. Method consists in usage of the above-described device.
EFFECT: enabling the creation of device with the grating in the seat securing reliable element and possibility of its easy installation / dismantling.
