SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to controlled directional drilling. Drilling direction control unit comprises a housing having an actuator, mounted therein and driven to rotate the drive shaft. Planetary gearbox is installed in the casing and contains a toothed crown functionally connected to the body, a central gear connected to the drive shaft, and a planetary gear carrier. Mechanical connection functionally connects the toothed crown to the body in such a way that the gear ring rotates as the housing rotates. Mechanical connection is selected based on the ability of one or more mechanical parameters of the mechanical connection to reduce the stick-slip disturbance transmitted between the body and the ring gear. Deflecting spindle is connected to one of: a central gear or a planetary gear carrier in such a way that the rotation of one of: central gear or planetary carrier causes a corresponding rotation of the deflecting spindle, the deflecting spindle being independently rotatable with respect to the housing.

EFFECT: reduced effect of stick-slip on the tool.
