FIELD: testing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of testing and can be used for immediate assessment of the wear resistance of materials on various road surfaces. Essence: rectangular plates of the same thickness are cut from the test materials, such rectangular plates are then fixed on the device for immediate assessment of wear resistance of polymeric and elastomeric materials when rubbing them against road surfaces, after that the plates are subjected to the wear resistance test, which is carried out in the “real world” conditions by rubbing them against the surface under given conditions, wherein the abradable surfaces of the samples have the same radius of curvature. In the method, the device consists of identical cylindrical disks, on the cylindrical surface of which three rectangular strips of test materials of the same thickness are fixed, located at a distance of 120° from one another. Each disk has three pairs of through-going radial grooves, located at a distance of 60°, through which two rods, which are located in one plane that is perpendicular to the surface of the road, prevent the rotation of the disks, and the independent load on each disk is transmitted through the axle rod.

EFFECT: technical result: an immediate assessment of wear and tear of materials.
