Nail correction device comprising: a first gripping member and a second gripping member; an elongation member elastically active between the first and second gripping members. First gripping member and the second gripping member are spaced apart from each other and connected to each other by a stretching member. First and second gripping members are adapted to be fixed by adhesive bonding to the nail plate area. First gripping member, the second gripping member and the stretching member form an integral knot and are formed as a single unit. Tensile element is elastically active in its longitudinal direction and serves as a tensile element. Device also comprises a locking member for manual gripping with or without a tool to elastically stretch the stretch member during attachment of the device to the nail plate coupled to the gripping member. Fixing element with the first and second gripping elements and with the stretching element form a unit and are formed as one unit. Method of attaching the above device to the nail plate of the finger of the hand or leg comprises the following steps: first gripping element is glued onto the nail plate in the first region; the stretch element is elastically tensioned; second gripping element, while retaining the elastic tension of the stretch element, is glued onto the nail plate in the second region, so that a prolonged tensile force is applied to the gripping members; the fixing member is separated.

EFFECT: inventions provide a more flat configuration, simplified installation and economical manufacturing so that the tensile forces can be infinitely adjusted.
