FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a kit for implementing a method for correcting the toenails or fingernails of humans or animals. Depending on the degree of deformation of the nails, primarily on the degree of curving thereof, compositions based on photopolymerisable components can be used. Due to the corresponding method for installing metal elastic brackets, mechanical irritation of the nail-adjacent tissue is eliminated. The set for nail correction proposed in the invention comprises: a priming agent (primer) containing hydroxyethylene methacrylate in an amount from 40 to 59.9%, phosphate dimethacrylate in an amount from 40 to 60%, an initiator in an amount from 0.1 to 1.0%; at least one composition for forming a photocurable corrective bracket containing bisphenol A (di)methacrylate and urethanedimethacrylate in a ratio from 1:5 to 5:1 in an amount from 15 to 45%, fillers and pigments in an amount from 84.9 to 55%, camphorquinone, an amine initiator in an amount from 0.1 to 1%; and, if necessary, one or multiple metal elastic brackets.

EFFECT: set for nail correction provides a possibility of easily correcting the shape of ingrown fingernails or toenails.
