FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to methods of ingrown and deformed nails correction. Support element is fixed on nail plate. Shoulders are made of spring-rigid wire, each of which has on its end means for fixation of shoulder on edge of nail plate. Shoulders are placed on the nail plate in amount of 1–4. Connection of each shoulder with support element is performed by means of appropriate wire loop and twisting of said loop for attraction of said shoulder towards support element. Creating and adjusting preset shoulder tension on each side of nail plate independently from other shoulders. Creation and adjustment of preset shoulder tension is performed by providing tension of shoulder completely adjacent to nail surface or by using spring properties of the shoulder, the end of which, opposite to the means for fixing the shoulder on the edge of the nail plate, is placed with a gap to the surface of the nail plate.

EFFECT: method allows providing independent adjustment of tension of each shoulder separately irrespective of other shoulders, as well as performing correction of nail plate even in case of nail plate extension to soft tissues.
