FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to armament, namely to method of firing a guided missile and precision-guided weapon systems implementing this method. System and method consist in determining the coordinates of the target and the point of detonation of the projectile, using a three-dimensional electronic map of the combat area, in the formation of firing installations in the form of calculated trajectory data of a guided missile and data on the point of its detonation, in periodic calculation during the flight of the projectile of its current trajectory data by signals of the local positioning system, in determining the deviation of the current trajectory data from calculated ones and bringing them into line with the calculated ones.
EFFECT: expansion of capabilities of combat use of weapons is achieved, while ensuring the safety of personnel.
