SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dentistry and is intended for use in the complex treatment of patients with inflammatory periodontal diseases. Proposed device for fixing and protecting periodontal dressings is a gum shields placed on the parodontium areas of the upper and lower jaws. Body is made in the form of a horseshoe with a base that repeats the anatomical features of the dentition and the relief of the gums, with the possibility of fixing them on the parodontium of the upper and lower jaws. In this case, the gum shields are made of transparent plastic 0.8 mm thick, overstating the bite no more than 1.6 mm, include a dedicated reservoir for the periodontal bandage for the upper and lower jaws. Base of the device, for creating a vacuum, has patches made of orthodontic wax all around the perimeter.

EFFECT: use of the device allows to accelerate the time and improve the quality of treatment.
