FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical equipment. In a normal operation mode of the network the bias voltage of the neutral relative to the ground is measured, it is compared with a predetermined threshold level, and the bias voltage of the neutral is changed, when the voltage of the neutral bias is exceeded by a voltage of a given threshold level, the current is fed to the neutral of the network, it is regulated by equalizing the bias voltage of the neutral with the ground potential, the current is measured, stored and reproduced. Claimed technical solution provides a connection to a neutral of a controlled source with an appropriate current control algorithm ensuring complete neutralization of an asymmetry source. Neutral bias voltage is controlled independently of the quality of the network zero sequence circuit. This eliminates the component of the earth fault current caused by the network asymmetry source.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and expansion of the method scope of automatic regulation of a neutral bias voltage in a compensated network.
