SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and electric power engineering and can be used to automatically compensate for the current of a single-phase earth fault in distribution networks with insulated neutral. To a device for automatic compensation of a single phase-to-earth fault current containing a controlled arc suppressor installed in the network neutral, three-phase transformer and voltage transformer, the inputs of which are connected to the network, the control unit of the reactive component of the circuit current, the output of which is connected to the control input of the extinguishing reactor, and the input is connected to the first output of the voltage transformer, the control unit of the active component of the current circuit, the first input of which is connected to the second output of the voltage transformer, and a current sensor, the output of which is connected to the second input of the control unit of the active component of the current circuit, additional rectifier is introduced, whose input is connected to the output of a three-phase transformer, and a voltage converter, in which the power input is connected to the rectifier output, the control input is connected to the output of the control unit of the active component of the current circuit, and the output is connected via a current sensor to the network neutral or directly through a matching transformer. Invention provides independent and accurate compensation of the active component of the earth-fault current.

EFFECT: improving the accuracy of compensation of the active component of the circuit and reducing the installed capacity of power equipment; use of the invention allows to significantly reduce the consumption of electrical energy for the purposes of compensation and to expand the scope of application due to the use of the claimed device in networks with weakened insulation.
