FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: proposed is the enhanced safety connector for the serial bus. Enhanced safety connector for the serial bus includes housing with the first end and the second end, wherein the first end is the housing terminal end and has the terminal center line (CL), and the second end is the housing outlet end. Connector also includes insulating member, located inside the housing and extending from approximately the first end to the second end, and plurality of conductors (130) located substantially in the insulating member (120) and extending from the first end to the second end. Plurality of conductors (130) have contacts, which are located close to the first end and have central contact lines (X, Y), which are substantially parallel to the terminal center line (CL), at that, each conductor (130a-130d) from the plurality of conductors (130) is distant from the adjacent conductor (130a-130d) at a distance, which substantially satisfies the requirements for the distance between conductors of the serial bus standard, which determines the voltage across the plurality of conductors (130), and is equal to or greater than the required minimum safety distance for the voltage determined by this serial bus standard.
EFFECT: increase in the safety.
