SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of modeling heat and mass transfer processes. This method for calculating the generalized angular emission factors applicable for vacuum furnace aggregates is performed by using a graphical pipeline that includes a vertex shader for translating the local coordinates of primitives to global coordinates and, then, translating global coordinate to camera coordinates, a surface shader and a domain shader to perform hardware tessellation, a geometric shader for transforming the coordinates of the vertices of the three-dimensional model of the object under study from the Cartesian coordinate system to the spherical one and removing the surfaces invisible to the emitter, a pixel shader for returning the pixel of the radiating surface number as a color and a computational shader for processing the received image and returning the array of system elements to which the radiating surface radiates and the number of pixels included in the frame and for calculating the angular emission coefficients using the image.
EFFECT: providing computation of generalized angular radiation coefficients using a graphics processor.
