FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical industry, security printing, agriculture, electronics and lighting technology and can be used to manufacture polymer films in order to create artificial illumination of greenhouses and orangeries, LEDs, IR visualizers, night vision devices, dosimeters, displays for displaying alphanumeric information. Surface of the phosphor dots is treated with a polysilicic acid sol, synthesized by hydrolysis in an alcoholic solution of tetraethoxysilane in an amount of 0.1–0.3 % by weight, in the presence of a catalyst, which is a solution of the nitrate salt of the elements of the second group in an amount of 18–25 wt%, in the process of applying a protective coating onto the surface of the phosphor dots. Then, the phosphor crystals are encapsulated in a film formed on their surface from a solution of a dispersion of polyacrylic acid added in an amount of 1–2 % by weight of the processed phosphor mass. After that, the treated phosphor is dried.
EFFECT: increased service life and brightness of luminescent phosphors, their resistance to environmental factors.
