SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of navigational instrument making and can find application in homing systems, in particular the homing of an aircraft (AC) on ground targets by means of a radar using synthesized antenna apertures or Doppler training of the beam pattern. To do this, the control signal is replaced by the weight of the error on the bearing on the ratio of fines for the error on the aircraft bearing to the ground speed of the aircraft, the weight of the error in the angular velocity of the direction "AC-target" is replaced by the product of the ratio of penalties from the angular velocity to the cosine of the bearing, divided by target range. At the same time, the decrease in the amplitude of the lateral overloads of the aircraft makes it possible to increase the probability of stable tracking of the target, to reduce the time of error correction of the trajectory of the aircraft from the calculated one, and to increase the economy of guidance.

EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities due to a decrease in the amplitude of lateral overloads of aircraft, guided by radar data with a synthesized aperture, at the initial point of guidance.
