FIELD: radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio-electronic homing systems and can be used to guide aircraft equipped with synthetic aperture radar (SAR) to ground targets. Aircraft guidance trajectory is divided into two sections. First section provides access to the range of switching on the SAR under the required onboard bearing, the second section ensures the required linear resolution of the SAR in azimuth. Estimate of the current onboard bearing and angular velocity of the line of sight of the target is formed on the first section based on data of the onboard inertial navigation system, taking into account the known coordinates of the target, on the second section – according to SAR data. Aircraft control error amplification factors and steady-state error compensation parameter are calculated. Required lateral acceleration of the aircraft is calculated.
EFFECT: enabling optimization of the law of trajectory control of aircraft with SAR in horizontal plane to improve quality of transient processes, with limitation on value of available lateral acceleration and ensuring minimum miss.
