FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: using for monitoring the technical condition of hazardous production facilities and facilities in an explosive area. Essence of invention consists in fact that smart transducer of acoustic emission is made in explosion-proof design and contains a piezoelectric element, frequency filter, low noise amplifier with adjustable gain, output converter, controlled pulse shaper, spark protection barrier and power and control node, while all the components of the smart transducer are housed in one small-sized sealed enclosure, and the controlled pulse shaper is configured to generate high voltage pulses at a predetermined level and damping of the oscillations, in this case, the smart transducer supports two-way communication with control equipment on a two-wire line.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of developing a compact converter of acoustic emission, made in explosion-proof design, capable of forming pulses of acoustic emission of high power and connected to the control equipment by a two-wire communication line.
