SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for synchronizing a turbine with an alternating current network with network frequency (2), in which the following steps are performed: a) acceleration of the turbine to frequency (4) in frequency range (2), b) recording the misalignment angle between the turbine and the alternating current network, c) recording the error rate between the turbine and the alternating current network, d) acceleration or deceleration of the turbine in such a way that the turbine follows predetermined trajectory (5), wherein predetermined trajectory (5) is a predetermined trajectory, which, depending on the angle of error, reports the specified error rate, which should take place, so that at the specified turbine speed and alternating current network, a predetermined angular position between the turbine and the alternating current network suitable for synchronous power supply is achieved. Also, the invention relates to an appropriate control device for a turbine.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce the time before the start of the current generation process.
