SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a structural element with a substrate and to a method for manufacturing a structural member. Structural element with a substrate in the form of a plate or profile and with a decorative surface layer bonded to the substrate, the substrate being formed of wood, a high pressure laminate and/or cardboard, and the surface layer is formed of a thermosetting resin and has a three-dimensional stamping surface structure that is uneven, wherein the surface structure has alternately ordered and unordered zones that are formed by structures of ribs and/or grooves, the ordered zones with parallel and/or to a certain extent parallel edges, and/or with parallel and/or to a certain extent parallel grooves are interrupted by unordered zones or structural breaks, and the width of the corresponding rib or groove lies in the range of 0.5 mcm to 100 mcm.
EFFECT: creation with optimal costs of structural elements with a decorative surface, the decorative surface of which has good wear resistance and largely prevents the presence of fingerprints.
