FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to clinical microbiology, discloses an antimicrobial combination of the combined use of carbapenems and bisphosphonates with respect to carbapenem-resistant Gram-negative bacteria of the Klebsiella pneumoniae type ATCC 70603, producing metal-β-lactamase (MβL). Antimicrobial combinations are characterized by a weight ratio of components, namely to a combination of imipenem/clodronic acid, meropenem/clodronic acid, imipenem/etidronic acid, meropenem/etidronic acid are used in the ratios of 1:1,875, 1:15,000, 1:50,000, 1:50,000 respectively.
EFFECT: proposed technical solution allows modeling production of strains of Gram-negative microorganisms with different levels of resistance to carbapenems and to evaluate inhibition efficiency of MβL and can be used to overcome the resistance of Gram-negative bacteria of the Klebsiella pneumoniae species producing MβL, to the carbapenems.
