SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the antibacterial therapy and is intended for the treatment of severe and extremely severe, mainly hospital infectious diseases caused by multi-resistant bacteria producing carbapenemase. It is proposed to use an agent, which is a mixture of biapenem and avibactam at a ratio of 4:1 to 1:2, for the treatment of infectious diseases caused by multi-resistant bacteria of the Enterobacterales, the genera Acinetobacter and Pseudomonas, producing carbapenemase.

EFFECT: invention provides a synergistic effect between biapenem and avibactam in relation to gram-negative bacteria producing carbapenemase.
