Content delivery method comprises the steps of: when receiving the content request from the user equipment (UE), information is received on the access location of the UE, wherein the access location information of the UE includes a routing area, a location area, a tracking zone, or a cell; receiving at least one content management device and information on a first area served by the at least one content management device; determining, in accordance with the location information and the first region information, a content management device whose service area is closest to the UE as the content management device for serving the UE; send a request to find the cache device in a specific content management device; receive the identifier of the cache device returned by the content management device; and a redirect message is sent to the UE, so that the UE is redirected to the cache device corresponding to the identifier to obtain the requested content.
