FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical technology and can be used for non-invasive determination of body fluid volumes. Device for measuring electrical impedance in parts of body contains a probe generator, four pairs of electrodes, each of which contains current and potential electrodes for fixation on the limbs, first and second switches, a detector, analog-digital converter, a control and registration unit. Between the opposite outputs of the generator is connected a calibration chain, comprising a series-connected resistor and a controllable switch whose input is connected to the fourth output of the control and registration unit. Electrical conductors, connected with pairs of electrodes for fixation on the right limbs of the body, and electrical conductors connected to pairs of electrodes for fixation on the left limbs of the body, enter the body of the device from opposite sides. Conductors pairs of electrodes for fixing on the legs are shorter than the conductors of pairs of electrodes for fixation on the hands.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of measurement of the impedance of the body is achieved by ensuring the quality control of the contact of the electrodes with the body during the measurement of impedance, as well as reducing the amount of parasitic capacitance that occurs between the wires connecting the electrodes to the body of the device.
