FIELD: electrical communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the audio device. Audio device comprises circuit (201) for the processing performance for the dynamic range adjustment relative to the input signal to generate the output signal for reproduction by the loudspeaker (101). Processing for the dynamic range adjustment depends on the dynamic range adjustment parameters set. Echo compensation first linear filter (203) generates the first compensated signal from the input audio signal, and the first adapter (205) determines the filter parameters set for the first echo compensation linear filter (203) in response to the first compensated signal and the microphone signal. Audio circuit (207, 209) generates the second compensated signal by the processing application for the dynamic range adjustment and the second echo compensation filter (209) application to the input signal, wherein the second echo compensation filter (209) corresponds to the first echo compensation filter (203). Second adapter (211) determines the dynamic range adjustment parameters set in response to the second compensated signal and the microphone signal.

EFFECT: technical result is the improved echo compensation.
