SUBSTANCE: unit of a noise environment classifier detects a noise level available on the way of an upperlink signal and generates a noise classifier on the basis of noise level, besides, the noise environment classifier unit classifies a noise level available on the way of the upperlink signal to at least one classification selected from multiple specified noise classifications. A detector of simultaneous conversation detects whether there is an audio signal of an upperlink on the way of an upperlink signal, detects whether there is an audio signal of a downlink on the way of a downlink signal; and generates a flag of simultaneous conversation on the basis of at least a noise classifier to confirm whether there is an audio signal of an upperlink on the way of the upperlink signal, and whether there is an audio signal of a downlink on the way of the downlink signal, besides, the simultaneous conversation detector bases the simultaneous conversation flag on a selected noise classification. A non-linear filter processes a simultaneous conversation flag, a noise classifier and an upperlink signal to generate an output signal that has a lower echo.
EFFECT: improved detection of simultaneous conversation in presence of noise.
